After thoughtful consideration, we have made the difficult decision to indefinitely suspend our car-sharing operations in New York, Philadelphia, St. Louis, Honolulu and some US university programs. This decision was effective June 18, 2020. We did not take this decision lightly and apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
We have provided a prorated refund of annual membership fees as well as refunds for any credit balances. If you have questions about your account please contact us.

After careful consideration, we have made the difficult decision to indefinitely suspend our current car-sharing model in certain markets. This was a strategic business decision that was right for Enterprise at this time.
We encourage customers to reach out to one of our nearby Enterprise Rent-A-Car branch offices for alternate mobility solutions. Enterprise is in a unique position to be able to serve most Enterprise CarShare members from our extensive network of local or neighborhood rental locations. We know that many of our members are renting during normal business hours and are hopeful our neighborhood locations will be able to meet the majority of our customers’ needs.
Members in good standing with Enterprise CarShare received a partial refund for application and/or membership fees paid between April 2019 and March 2020. The fee was prorated for the number of months “used” and was processed before June 30, 2020. If you have any questions about credits or refunds, please contact us.
The Enterprise network includes neighborhood Enterprise Rent-A-Car locations throughout your city, each one offering a diverse fleet of affordable vehicles. Many also offer extended and weekend hours.
We have decided to suspend our retail car-sharing services in U.S. cities and universities. However, we will still operate car-sharing services in other large metropolitan areas, including Toronto and London and at US businesses.
U.S. operational closures will have no impact whatsoever on your local Enterprise car-sharing membership or program.
We are working closely with each of our business partners to reimplement our services based on the their companies back to work and travel policies. Please contact the individual who manages transportation for your place of business to learn more about when CarSharing services will be available to you.
